Section 01

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device — computer, phone, or tablet — when you visit. They are widely used to make websites function correctly, to remember your preferences, and to give website owners a clearer sense of how their pages are being used.

Cookies do not contain executable code and cannot carry viruses. They can only be read by the website that created them. Most modern browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies through their settings.

By continuing to browse our website after we have informed you about cookies, you are accepting their use in accordance with this policy. You may withdraw this acceptance at any time by adjusting your preferences below or within your browser settings.

Section 02

Cookie Types We Use

Essential Cookies

Always active
Required

These are necessary for the website to function. They manage session state, remember your cookie consent choice, and enable form submissions. They cannot be disabled.

Analytics Cookies

These help us understand how visitors engage with our pages — which sections are read, how long visitors stay, and where they arrive from. The data is collected in aggregate and contains no personally identifiable information. Examples include page view counts and session duration.

Marketing Cookies

Marketing cookies allow us to understand whether our advisory is being found through particular channels, and to present relevant content to returning visitors. We do not use cookies for aggressive advertising or retargeting across unrelated websites.

Preference Cookies

These remember choices you make during your visit — such as language or regional settings — so you do not need to restate them on each page. They make the experience of navigating the website more coherent.

Section 03

Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on our website are placed by third-party services that we use to improve site functionality and measure performance:

  • Google Analytics: collects anonymised data on page visits and user behaviour. Governed by Google's privacy policy.
  • Google Maps: the map embedded on our homepage may set cookies related to map interaction. These are managed by Google.

We do not embed social media tracking pixels or advertising network cookies. Third-party cookies are subject to the privacy policies of those respective providers.

Section 04

Cookie Duration

  • Session cookies: exist only for the duration of your browser session and are deleted automatically when you close the browser. Used for basic navigation and form security.
  • Persistent cookies: remain on your device for a set period. Our consent preference cookie is stored for 12 months. Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics typically expire after 13 months.

You can clear all cookies from your browser at any time regardless of their stated duration. See Section 6 for instructions by browser type.

Section 05

Your Cookie Preferences

Section 07

Your Rights

You have the right to withdraw your consent to non-essential cookies at any time using the preference controls in Section 5, or by clearing cookies through your browser. Withdrawing consent does not affect any processing that took place while consent was active.

Disabling analytics or preference cookies will not prevent you from using this website, though some features — such as a retained consent record — will behave differently.

For questions about data collected through cookies, or to exercise rights under the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010, write to us at [email protected].

Further information about your data rights is available in our Privacy Policy.
